Wings Up, Eagles! Let's get to know each other! Coach Moravits
https://padlet.com/janitamoravitsdim/185twyqoehk1 Greetings and Salutations! I wanted to take a moment and let you know how excited I am to be your CHS Swim Coach. I know that Coach Cates is the best, but I am here to assure you that I am going to work really hard to be a great coach. I am willing to work and LEARN. I have been a Swim Mom forever, but this is my first time to be a Swim Coach. (Yes, I am Tim’s Mom.) I know there is a lot to learn, but I am already preparing for this year. I am looking into workouts, drills, and nutrition. I hope that you will go with me on this journey and that we will work together to build AMAZING swimmers and an EXTRAORDINARY Swim Team. I will be working closely with Coach Cates. I have also enlisted the help of Coach Wendy from Sigma Swimming and two of the best coaches I have ever known in my life – Marshall and Trin Campbell. They were my kids’ coaches when we all lived in Kerrville. They have also coached in the Fort Worth area and are now retired. They are great mentors. I am hoping to set up a swim party for us to get to know each other before school starts. I am thinking Sunday afternoon (August 5th). I will send out a poll to see what day works best for most of the team. Coach Cates will be there, as well. I have some ideas for new team shirts, and I will be asking for input from your team leadership. I will try to have those designs ready before the swim party. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be your coach, and I am both dedicated and passionate about swimming as a sport. I will be putting my whole heart into this journey, and I really want you all to come with me! You have unlimited potential as individuals and as a team. Let’s start by getting to know each other. After you read this message, please think of 3 things that you think I should know about you as a person and as a swimmer. Click on the link below. It will take you to a Padlet. Please upload a pic and type your answer on a Padlet note.
